Hello Pinterest lovers! How are we, recently I’ve been having some baking days and finally those Pins I’ve had saved for ages have some into use!

What I Changed:

I didn’t have any white chocolate so I just used plain chocolate chips, these disappeared in a few seconds flat at work, I would definitely make them again.

What I Changed:

I didn’t have any white chocolate and as these were a last minute baking decision after Richmond Park Marathon I wasn’t feeling inclined to buy any. I substituted plain chocolate and used 50g of spelt flour in the mix. I think swapping the chocolate reduced the custardiness of these biscuits and I would add more custard powder next time. They were really quick and easy to make though and the custard added some creaminess.

The Pin: Wholemeal Honey Bread from Joy the Baker

What I Changed:

I halved the recipe as I don’t have the space to freeze an extra loaf and I used fresh yeast. This recipe is delicious, the honey really comes through. We had it for sandwiches on a picnic and the sweetness adds a lovely touch to any filling. I felt good having oats and wholemeal flour in there too!

Have you tried any bookmarked recipes lately? I love having baking days, how would you fill yours?
