What have I been up to?

Up being the important word…

I ran some half marathons,

and jumped a bit.

This photo is from Basingstoke, which I thought would be boring, but I absolutely LOVED. One for your hit list next year.

This photo is from Amsterdam, which I thought I would love, but I found the afternoon start and paper cups too much for my delicate disposition.

I ran a hilly marathon,

Beachy Head Marathon Hills

and jumped a bit.

I helped out with the setting up of Homewood parkrun,

I absolutely love parkrun, it’s what got me into running and I was lucky to meet the lovely Suzi, ED extrodimaire and become part of the team at Homewood parkrun. Please come and visit us and you can be #Homewoodprbound !

Glad to see you blogging again! I ran Homewood parkrun last week (in the pouring rain). It’s a nice small parkrun and I’ll be back in the spring probably, when it’s dry! I’ll look out for you next time and will say hello!

Yay for setting up a new parkrun!
And Basingstoke? More like Amazingstoke as the t-shirt says.
Our running club set up a new parkrun in May (Ellenbrook fields if you are ever in Hatfield) and the community spirit is just brilliant there- although it means I am torn as I also love my official home one of Panshanger!
